Synopsis

A happy publication day for this brand new thriller!
This was my first read by the author Stuart James and it will not be my last!
Grabbing you from the outset with a frantic 999 call this book gets under your skin and leaves you really felling the bubbling tension and leaves you down right terrified in parts.
Meagan who saw her abusive father kill her mother, now many years on Meagan finds herself in an abusive relationship.
After they married James changed into a control freak, scarily dictating Megan's and his life. Then Megan meets Oliver on the way to work and what she asks of him change their whole lives
Throughout the book the chapters alternate between past of Meagan's childhood and the events of the present day, I found the writing not only gripping but the pace was so quick i found myself fast flowing through the read becoming wrapped up in the twists and turns and these characters.
And the ending phew!! well what a twist it was! I know many may cliche to say I did not see it coming but WOW I just did not! cut to me left open mouthed in shock re reading the last few chapters!!
If you love this genre like I do then look no further, this is a fantastic psychological thriller that will leave you shook to the core.
