My Review

Wow! wow! What a debut! from the blurb to the bold cover design this book hooks you from the start.

Tina Valentine is living an amazing life she has a wonderful family, a beautiful home and a successful career at a law firm and is on the verge of making partner.

But Tina has secrets and when Megan Pearson starts working as a secretary at the same firm, everything changes.

Everyone seems to love Megan but Tina seances that something is not quite right about her,she seems to be the only one seeing the true Megan and how manipulative she is.

Is Megan the reason everything is falling apart? is she out to really destroy Tina's life?

This book fly's by, I had saved this book as i was looking forward to reading it so much and by the same evening I was plough through the final chapters i just could not put it down! the story takes off running and you are desperately reading the next chapter to see what happens next! the characters are all well done, though some of them I just wanted to grab and shake with frustration of them not truly seeing what was happening (I'm looking at you Glyn!).

This pace of the book build up the sense of urgency and the feeling of dread that is just oozing through the pages, as the actions of certain characters get crazier you are almost screaming in your head at what is going on!

This is one of my favourite type's of reviews as anything I really say about the book is a spoiler! there are so many twist and turns in the plot that I can't really say much more on the story.

So this review is just me saying i had a fantastic time reading this and me urging you to go out or get online and grab this book now because if your wanting a book with a gripping plot, with writing that will leave you breathless, full of secrets lies and that all encompassing feeling of dread, then this is the book you have been waiting for! and For me this is the debut of 2019!

Author Bio

Sadie Ryan is a British author with two grown up children, she lives with her daughter, adorable rescue dog and cat in a small village in leafy Cheshire in the North West of England.

She writes psychological suspense/domestic noir novels. She has completed three psychological suspense/domestic noir novels and is currently writing her fourth.

Her first book, Behind Closed Doors, was snapped up by publishers Ruby Fiction and published in May 2019. Her second will be out in January 2020.

When asked where she gets her ideas from, she says, ‘From observation, inspiration and lots of wicked thoughts.’
