Her mummified body is hidden in the dark corner of a basement room, a room which seems to have been left untouched for decades.
A room which feels as cold as the grave.

The answers are far from what McLean or anyone else could expect. The truth far more chilling than a simple cold case...
My Review
Truth be told i was so very excited to be asked to take part in the blog tour for this book as i am already a huge fan of the mclean series!!
If your looking for a solid police procedural/investigation with the bonus of what is by now an established team of characters that make this read so real and full of warmth.
I really enjoyed Cold as the Grave plenty of twists and turns, lots of action and the one of the best parts with the added supernatural element.
When you first tackle this element in a book like this it is hard to understand how it fits but James Oswald but makes it fit so naturally within the story and the reactions of the characters that it all just works and is a real signature of the series.
The novel is a real page turner, a slow burn but woven with with several mysteries going on that keep you wanting to just read one more bit and kept me guessing.
