My Review
Dark Corners is the third book by this author and after build up of antisipation for this one, I am thrilled to report that it lives up to the hype and we are again in for a real treat of a read from Darren O'Sullivan!
We meet Neve in this tale, a woman who suffered a horrible trauma as a child that is still haunting her life now.
When suddenly one of her childhood friends goes missing, she returns to her home villiage for the first time in twenty-one years, and she discovers if what is happening now and long ago in her childhood are connected, and that even the ghosts we think are buried have a way of coming back for you.
I devoured this read, loved the mix of the 2 timelines, very much a favourite aspect of mine at the moment and so very well done here.
Thrilling with enough tension and suspense that it keeps you hooked throughout, and while I am a spoiler free blog I will say that the creepyness the author entwines in the story left me thinking that late at night was not the best time to be reading this! and the WOW of an ending left me quite sucker punched and reeling!
loved the pervious books and this one is my favourite so far! cannot wait to see what this author brings next!
