My Review
This read gripped me like a vice from the first few pages and never let go!
We are thrown into the horrors of a victim trapped and chained forced to obey her captor, and you feel the fear and desperateness leaking off the pages.
From the victim and the captor we head also in to the world of DI Hammett when a puzzling missing persons case leads to so much more.
As small tokens arrive its clear the fear these bring could it be after all this time? not just a serial killer in there midst's but the Sleeping beauty killer?
the story moves at rapid pace as Hammett and his team race to unravel the true meanings behind the tokens and as the bodies pile up the fear of what will happen to his latest victim.
This thrilling tale reaches his heart pounding conclusion and I could feel the tension rising with a and the twisted mind like this killer has you can never fully trust where the story will go and this tale keeps you guessing right till the end!
This was a fast-paced novel that has you reading at pace! creepy chilling events and captivating twists that kept the tension ramped up until the final page!
