My Review
Susan Lewis is one of my most favourite authors, i have her books on pre order months before release and she has never failed to give me a thrilling and emotinal read, this new novel lives up to all her other works and more!
in this read we meet Claudia and her daughter Jasmine, who have left there london home and moved to the seaside town of Kesterley to live with Claudia's mum Marcy.
The dark reason for having fled London slowly become clear and Having changed their appearance and their names the mother and daughter live in fear of Marcus a shady criminal who was Claudia's second husband.
Just as they start to rebuild their lives, and the past seems to be staying there they settle into the town and there new lives, making friends and finally moving on but everything comes crashing down one evening and the fallout from this event means things will never be the same again!
this was every bit of the rollercoaster ride I need after hitting a bit of a reading slump, engaging, thrilling and enthralling this read kept he hooked the whole way through! It has gone straight to the top of my favourite reads by this author!
I Ioved the powerfull message of forgiveness and second chances but I loved more the power these women showed, my favourite character was Marcy and the strength she has, It was one of the reads you have that you are sad to leave the characters behind!
Forgive Me is Susan Lewis showing what a master storyteller she is, the perfect gift for booklovers out there and I cannot wait for more!
