My Review
This debut is my read if the year so far!
heartwarming, inspirational and full of pure grit, hope and laugher!
Chloe takes us back on the extremely personal journey of fulfilling her desire to work in healthcare while battling the challenges of her own health.
As a nurse myself and a neurodiverse parent I loved the true to life tales, the honestly around the brutal world that healthcare has become and the almost insurmountable exhausting challenge medical education is right now.
but as a fellow dyslexic is was wonderful to see Chole rise in her field to confront her own struggles and yet learn and develop that understanding and take that forward in her treatment of others.
I laughed and I almost cried in parts! it was so lovely to read a book where I could understand with such comradery the issues at hand.
If you enjoy bibliographical reads, work in the medical field, dream of working in medicine, are looking for an uplifting read then this is the book for you!
but most importantly this is the book also for the young people out there who struggle, who think that dyslexia or other disabilities will hold them back, this is the book you need see how others rise and how you can too!
