My Review
I read, reviewed and loved one of this authors books Heathstone Cottage last November
so I could not wait to get stuck in to this read!
In this read we meet Emily, she suffers from dissociative episodes and they have causing issues again so she is on her way to
Greyfriars Reformatory school.
On the way and at the reformatory we meet the other characters, while Emily struggles with her own mental health issues and we do note that this is not her first time at the Reformatory each of the girls has her own struggles and in some case other reasons for been ordered by the courts to attend the Reformatory, The staff and the Principle have a wave of authority and terror about them in equal measure.
but as the girls aim to get through there time, strange things happen and the legend of the grey girl becomes all to real for everyone
This was a read that was dripping in tension and atmosphere the author described the characters and the Reformatory so well I thought I was there living the events with them.
As I said the atmosphere is all encompassing and the terror that this read gives mean it is best not read last at night! but when you pause it is a story that has gotten so under your skin you can not stop thinking about it!
Packed with tension, steeped in a supernatural horror as this read barrelled towards its conclusion i was on the edge of my seat! and an ending where the twists just kept coming!
The perfect read for any horror and supernatural fans looking for area to get under there skin, I cannot wait to see what this author comes up with next!
