My Review
Let's be honest as a physiological thriller book fan, you see Karen Rose's name and you know it's going to be a brilliant read.
This book was an utter class, the best yet!, Into The Dark is The 5th book in the Cincinnati series, I have read and enjoyed every one of them and I suggest you do too, but this book can easily be read as a stand-alone.
I was hooked from the first page, as with most Karen Rose books we start off at speed and just keep going!
Michael only aged 14 and who is hearing impaired saves his little brother 5 year old Joseph from and abusive home running from his stepfather, only then to witness his murder.
All Micheal see's is a huge balding man, but that enough to put him in danger, see the killer wants to hurt abusers but he won't risk been caught.
While Micheal and Joseph escaped their step-father, the abuse continues with their mother, and when she forgets to collect them one day from school they cross paths with Diesel Kennedy and in turn Dani Novack, these are character we have met in previous books and here they have intense history and chemistry but they are committed to working to help these 2 boys.
Add to this corruption, dismembered bodies, a killer on a mission, sex, passion, and enough heartache and emotion to leave you in tears, to say any more would just be spoilers!
This book is a hell of a roller coaster ride and I loved every single minute! Karen Rose finishes 2019 with a bang! Grab it, buy it, download the eBook, or put it on your Christmas list because this is one book you do not want to miss out on.

She now enjoys writing books that make other people afraid to go to sleep.
