My Review

Susan Lewis is just a Authors that you see the name and just know you are in for a treat of a read.

In "My Lies,Your Lies" we meet Joely has just been left hearbroken by her husband who is now living with her best friend and worse still her daughter has gone with him.

While feeling so upset and down and intresting opertunity falls at Joelys feet.

Joely is a ghostwritter and accepts the job in helping a reclusive yet famous author Freda write her memoir, best of all to do this she will have to travel to and stay in a remote area of Devon, just what Joely needs she feels is some space away from everyone.

But writing the memoir leads to so much more than Joely ever expected, as she produces the pages of Fredas story she writes the agonising and illicit tale of a 15 year old schoolgirl’s relationship with her music teacher in the 60's. Wrapped in young love they are unable to see the dark times to come, but as lies, secrets and revelations come to the surface, the consecquences become clear the question is can Joely and her family really come through this?

This is a fantastic read of 2 halves, The first the memoir which then leads to the events in the second half which has so many heartwrenching twists that it was a job to keep up!

Wonderfully written with some fabulous characters and some charming discriptions of the areas in which the story is set.

To say Susan Lewis has done it again is an understatement this is a emotive and tension filled read with a story that lingers in your mind for weeks, highly recommend!
