My Review
Lorna's daughter, Liberty wants to meet her father, has done for years but Lorna knows just how dangerous he is.
refusing to tell her anything about him they move on but one morning Lorna wakes and Liberty is missing, Lorna just knows she has gone to find him.
him, an older and famous man at the time when Lorna was just 16 years old manipulated and abused Lorna left to raise her daughter the best way she could.
but now she knows she must face him and in the end fight for her daughter as Liberty does not know what she has started.
this is really one of those reads the hooks you quickly and gets under your skin following Lorna's and Liberty story you get both views from the past and the present, chilling and I have to put a trigger warning as this read does focus on sexual,abuse, rape and grooming.
While we have many view points the author weaves such a web your struggling to determine who is really telling the truth this made for a tense filled read filled with secrets and lies.
