" One Way Out takes you into the dark heart of a city under siege.. "
Synopsis
A bomb detonates in Bradford’s City Park.
When the alert sounds, DC I Harry Virdee has just enough time to get his son and his mother to safety before the bomb blows. But this is merely a stunt.
The worst is yet to come.
A new and aggressive nationalist group, the Patriots, have hidden a second device under one of the city’s one hundred and five mosques. In exchange for the safe release of those at Friday prayers, the Patriots want custody of the leaders of radical Islamist group Almukhtareen – the chosen ones.
The government does not negotiate with terrorists. Even when thousands of lives are at risk.
There is only one way out.
But Harry’s wife is in one of those mosques. Left with no choice, Harry must find the Almukhtareen, to offer the Patriots his own deal.

My Review
WOW! if you love a fast paced read then this is the book for you!.
This is the 4th book in the Harry Virdee series and the first that I myself have read and trust me i will be reading more but rest assured this book stands just as well as a standalone read.
Just when things seem to be going well for Harry Virdee Within a few short minutes his world is turned upside down and it’s a race against time to save the woman he loves as well As a city centre full of other innocent people.
The story line bursts alive from the first chapters and i was hooked. This read really had me on the edge of my seat and been a West Yorkshire lass myself it was great to have to story set in an area I did know.
I loved the growing sense of urgency and fear created throughout the book and my heart was racing at points!
All together an fantastic topical roller-coaster ride of a read!
