He partners with a small-time crook to help the Glasgow underworld launder the proceeds of their crimes.

As the operation grows, Michael is forced to become more and more ruthless to protect what he has built.

Shocked by who he has become, he vows to leave the criminal world behind and start a new life. But the past has a way of catching up.

Finally, he gambles everything on one last desperate attempt to break free.

My Review

I admit I was looking forward to this read! This review is my second in the fantastic triple book blog tour organised by the lovely Rachel @rararesources.

last month I reviewed "Loves Long Road" and i really enjoyed it so much i could not wait for the timing to come round to get stick in to this read and i am thrilled to say i was not disappointed!

Silent money feels like such a classic story, we join Micheal working as an assistant manager at a bank, he is overlooked for promotion and in turn decided if he wants to succeeded he need to bend the rules.

an absolutely fascinating and well researched look in to banking, business and corruption in the 1970's so many things and security we rely on now was not around back then.

the story is engaging and gritty and written oh so well in the authors fantastic style which just hooks and captivates right from the start you not only with great characters but also the visualisation of the era and the setting is just magnificent.

Again I cannot wait for my next journey with this author in the final blog tour in November!
