An exciting new debut for anyone who loves RUTH WARE, LUCY FOLEY, and C.L. TAYLOR
It seems fitting to read a tale based at a holiday ski resort in winter and especially when we are all stuck home!
In this tale we meet a variety of characters from the present day and 20 years ago.
this story flip flops between the 2 timelines as the events unfold.
When 20 years ago a skier disappears in bad weather after becoming separated from his guides his body never found a tragic accident or was it?
Now all these years later a group meet at the same luxury chalet, there to hopfully convince other guests to invest in there business the event is going swimmingly until a body is discovered and the past comes back to haunt them.
This is one of those reviews as a no spoiler blog I feel is a little lack lustre on my part but that's just because this story is one of those that is so intrinsically woven that any plot points can give away key elements of this enthralling and gripping story!
This was a absolutely outstanding debut! exciting and thrilling this was the perfect psychological thriller which kept me gripped from the outset with twist and turns that I did not see coming! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this read and I cannot wait to see what this author brings next!
