My Review

Having thoroughly enjoyed the authors previous books I could not wait to get started on The Dead Wife and I am pleased to say I was not disappointed!!

Steph a journalist is invited back to her home town to experience the revamped Conmere Resort Centre.

Sonia is convinced her daughter Elizabeth's death was not an accident and that her husband one the owners of Conmere was responsible and she seeks out Steph to investigate.

Steph is already worried about going home and in the end it gets even more complicated as it was her own mother who investigated Elizabeth’s death before she retired from the police force.

The book moves between present day and time jumps to Elizabeth’s point of view in the run up to her death.

All the family seemed to be keeping secrets including Elizabeth herself and you never know who or what to trust.

This book was very fast paced and i just could not wait to get back to reading it! twist and turns galore! This is another hit by Sue Fortin and as always I look forward to the next!
