Here comes the official blurb!

Some secrets have the power to tear a family apart . . .

Moments before she dies, Nicola's grandmother Betty whispers to her that there are babies at the bottom of the garden. Nicola reassures her that it is two statues of fairies she has in the garden, but Betty insists there are babies. Nicola's mother Irene claims Betty was talking nonsense, but Nicola is not so sure. And when, after the funeral, her daughter Maisie finds a bone while playing by the fairy statues, Nicola knows that something sinister has taken place. But will unearthing painful family secrets end up tearing Nicola's family apart?

So i am suffering from a hangover from this book! its been 5 days since @lindagreenbooks new novel The Last Thing She Told Me joined me on my weekend trip to London and i still find myslef thinking about it.

Firstly this book is set around where live! Shout out to West Yorkshire and the lovely Halifax and Hebden Bridge!

Secondly this book has the most heart wrenching emotional journey at its heart that i have read in years and has left me shook to the core!

The amount of crying i have done during reading this! Now i consider myself a quick reader but wow this has taken 3 days! i had to take breaks during reading as i was just so caught up in the emotions of this book!! Plus i was a blubbering mess by the end!

So beautifully written, such strong female characters and i love how we fluttered between different timelines. The contrast between the beauty and love in the letters and the fear of what was happening at times was just amazing!

I cannot say to much to give away anything but you all NEED to read this book!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I cannot wait the read more from the author Linda Green!
