My Review

"It's crazy!, really good but crazy! it was great but it ended! is there a next one already can we get it now?"

This is my son late on a Friday evening after spending 2 days with his head stuck in this book! He left upset when I said that this was the only book so far, The ending! just arghhh! he said as he past on the book to me.

When I finally got stuck in to the read myself I understood everything he meant!

Sara is 14 and lives in Bejing attending and international school and spends a lots of her time visiting her Granny Tang and listening to her wonderful stories.

While on a school trip Visiting Beijing's Palace Museum the Qingming scroll takes her back 1000 years ago into China's past.

This sparks and amazing and thrilling adventure from china's present to its past, through its history, culture and art work, we are pulled along on this amazing journey that Sara goes through using the stories and advice given to her by Granny Tang.

Fantastic morals around, courage, respect and belief in oneself, mixed with the magic and history in this story to create a thrilling read.

This book while marketed as young adult is suitable for everyone, if your looking for a fun, magical and enthralling adventure then this is then book you have been waiting for.

And my son was right, this books only frustration is the ending! and only because it did end! what a cliff hanger!! Both my son and I are ready we want more please!
