When childhood friend Sarah re-enters Veronica’s life, things are thrown even further off balance. As tensions in their own lives rise, the painful memory that binds them threatens to spill into their present.

Three lives collide in this story of family, inequality and revenge.

My Review

From the outset this read felt so original and fresh focusing on Three very different women, all going though the ups and downs of life, but what you see on the outside is not what is going on behind doors

Simone, Veronica and Sarah, all of them living very different lives that is clear, Simone trying her best to better herself but with her

abusive controlling husband, Terry holding her back, can she every make the break for not just herself but her children too?

Veronica who's marriage seems to be going down hill slightly, moving into a beautiful new home but still grieving over a past miscarriage they are slowly pulling apart and when the 3am sound of thumping wakes them coming from there new neighbours Simone and Terry’s house with music blaring loud and a baby crying, Veronica can barley control her self as she hears the cries of a baby just as she had longed for and George is disgusted after all this time there dream home is tarnished by the neighbours behaviour

and finally Sarah a blast from the past Sarah and Veronica were child hood friends now Veronica is Sarah daughter new class teacher, but can Sarah really forgive Veronica for her past?

A trigger warning as this read tackles some hard hitting subjects such as domestic abuse, fertility struggles and miscarriage yet they are tackled in such an informative and effective way throughout the story.

These three women's lives become intertwined as the story progresses until we are left reeling from a read packed with suspense and an ending that left me left breathless.
