"“Rolfe is the real deal, folks, and anything he writes is well worth checking out.” - Gord Rollo, author of The Jigsaw Man and The Crucifixion Experiments"

Synopsis

It’s been ten years since the events of Until Summer Comes Around. Lucky to be alive, Rocky roams his beachside hometown, waiting for life to start again.

November Riley has never been far from the boy that stole her heart. She watches from the shadows, knowing she can never make things right between them, but just hoping they could try one more time…

A new documentary is bringing Gabriel Riley, the Beach Night Killer, back to national consciousness. The dead serial killer has a trio of new fans that are ready to make Old Orchard Beach their home for the end of the summer season.

When the new strangers in town discover Rocky’s relationship to the past of one of their own, he becomes their number one target.

Can November protect him, or will these other vampires prove too strong?

When the night falls, blood will spill, and death will reign.

My Review

"When the Night Falls is an awesome sequel that will have you on the edge of your seat!

In this book, you get to catch up with familiar characters from the hit "Until Summer Comes Around" though this can absolutely as it was in my case be read as a standalone as so much detail is given!

Rocky is back, but he's older now and still dealing with the aftermath of his love affair with November, a vampire. But things take a dark turn when a new documentary in to the old town serial killer brings more vampires to town, including some truly terrifying ones.

I loved following the story of November and Rocky there history and the love between them along side the horror of Vincent, Fiona, and Kat, the new main vampire trio. They're not like November - they're ruthless and dangerous. But as you learn more about them, you can't help but feel caught in their story too.

This book is intense, gory, and will keep you up at night. It's definitely one of Rolfe's best works and I highly recommend it!"
