Synopsis
Lizzie Burdett was eighteen when she vanished.

My Review
This was my first read by this author and I now am already getting stuck in to one of her previous books and I have ner new new novel "The Hidden Hours" due for release in November on pre-order so that should give you a bit hint at how well this read went!
In Thailand we meet Noah and Alice both searching for something, but mostly wanting time to themselves, but a chance meeting leads to the start of love.but each of them holds secrets to their past and they are about to come out one way or another.
Noah is called to the inquest of his older brothers Tom's missing girlfriend Lizzie, Lizzie disapeared one night after he rand Tom had a row, she set off to walk home and was never seen again. The trust, broken truth and lies have torn Noahs family apart.
Tom departed long ago he has not been back for over 10 years and proberly never would if not for the inquest about to take place. Noahs parents buired themselves in the family business and dragged Noah along with them with Tom a prime suspect for Lizzies disaperance, Noah as the only son left felt the need to step up and keep the business running. but everything has to come to a head at some point.
Alice is relling from Noah's past when he does tell her, the loss of Lizzie ways heavy on him she was his first crush, but Alice in turn holds secrets of her own and when she finally opens up to Noah they almost bond in their shared trauma yet Alice still holds back something.
With everything set to clolide Tom is back and the inquest starts but are any of them really ready for what this will reveal?
This was a read that was just dripping in tension and the constant undertone of the secrets you just feel are bubbling away. Your reading thinking in your head just tell me! tell me what happened! and while I felt I had this read all worked out the author knocked me sideways with the twists that in the final few chapters kept coming and coming.
I can say no more as spolier free blog but I end this read with tears in my eyes as I had become so attached to Noah and Alice and i softley hoped the premise of the finally pages would play out well.
This is a tension packed and emotive read perfect for thiller and crime fans alike. I left me almost missing the characters and I cannot wait to read more from this author.
