My Review
This is the second book in this series, i had the pleasure of reviewing the first last October.
It was so good to be back in this world and with these characters!
Luke, Jane and Matthew are newly graduating officers in the Time Police there team known as team weird, they all seem at a bit of a stalemate, as they come to the end of there training before graduation they are expected to know what department they wish to work in but non of our intrepid trio have any clue what they want and were that should be!
When a politician's daughter goes on an illegal trip to the seventeenth century and gets stuck, Team Weird are on the case, complicated by the stranded girl been an ex of Luke, the team are thrown for a loop as they uncover a major illegal underground business running tourism trips to the past.
This business does not care about the illegalities of there trips or the risk, and they have a ruthlessness that ends in the murder of 2 of Time Polices hunters.
With no leads and a lack of information the decision is made to send team wired undercover, Can the team do this? are they ready? are we?
This second book just cemented this series as one of my new favourites the characters are relatable and oh so funny.
Again packed with crazy adventures and laugh out loud moments this is the perfect read for the passionate and more casual sci fi fan, think Doctor Who mixed with Brooklyn Nine Nine!

Jodi Taylor is the author of the bestselling Chronicles of St Mary's series, the story of a bunch of disaster-prone historians who investigate major historical events in contemporary time. Do NOT call it time travel!
Born in Bristol and educated in Gloucester (facts both cities vigorously deny), she spent many years with her head somewhere else, much to the dismay of family, teachers and employers, before finally deciding to put all that daydreaming to good use and pick up a pen.
